Yuva is a Hindi feature film directed by Indian director Mani Ratnam released in 2004. Simultaneously made in Hindi (as Yuva) and Tamil (as Ayutha Ezhuthu), the prime objective of the movie was to motivate educated Indian youths to enter politics.
The film tells the stories of three men from completely different strata of society and one fateful incident on Calcutta's Hooghly Bridge which changes their lives forever.
Originally Hrithik Roshan and Simran Nawal were offered the roles played by Abhishek Bachchan and Esha Deol.
Synopsis
Lallan (Abhishek Bachchan) is a criminal don, settled in Calcutta. He loves, marries, and abuses his wife, Sashi Biswas (Rani Mukerji).Michael Mukherjee (Ajay Devgan) is a student leader, who wants politicians like Prosonjeet Bhattacharya (Om Puri), to keep away from college elections; He loves Radhika (Esha Deol). And then there is Arjun (Vivek Oberoi), carefree and spoilt, in love with Mira (Kareena Kapoor), who he just met, and who at one time wanted to relocate to the U.S., but then after meeting Michael, changes his mind and wants to be a politician. The paths of these three young men cross each others', resulting in drastic changes in their lives.

Yakeen is a 2005 Bollywood thriller directed by Girish Dhamija and starring Arjun Rampal, Priyanka Chopra, Kim Sharma, Sudhanshu Pandey and Saurabh Shukla. It also has a guest appearance by Ankur Nayyar. The film's screenplay was written by Vikram Bhatt. The film's premise centres on a man who recovers from an accident with amnesia, and as he starts to piece together his former life he feels that something is wrong. This film is an unofficial remake of the 1991 film Shattered.
Summary
The film begins with the recovery of Simar (Priyanka Chopra) and her husband Nikhil (Arjun Rampal) from a car accident. Simar is almost unscratched but Nikhil not only has major internal and external damage, but he also has amnesia. Simar is determined that Nikhil will get better and resume his life, and immediately begins by bringing in the best surgeons to reconstruct his damaged leg and face, and then later helping him with the hospital therapy.
Although Nikhil is at first cautious and weary, Simar's obvious love and dedication wins him over. After six months of therapy he's released from the hospital and the couple return home. Simar insists that Nikhil continue with his life and encourages him to go back to work, though beforehand she warns him that there are both good and bad people all around, and it's up to him to decide whom to trust.
Once Nikhil meets up with his old friends and goes through his personal files, he finds evidence that all was not well in his previous life. Now uncertain of his wife's true motives, Nikhil starts retracing his steps from the night of the accident, and learns that things are not quite what they appear.
